How do I use the scanner?

The Influenster scanner allows you to research products and read real member's reviews before choosing what to buy (and what to put back on the shelf). Please follow these directions to use yours:

1. Tap the Search icon/magnifying glass at the bottom of your screen in the app.
2. Tap the barcode icon in the upper right corner. It will appear within the search bar.
3. Your camera will launch to scan the barcode of your product.
   • If you receive a prompt saying that Influenster needs access to your camera, please accept it! If you decline, the scanner will not work.
4. The scan should happen automatically, and the app will take you directly to the associated product page.
   • If the product is not currently in the Influenster Marketplace, and you would like to have it added, please reach out to us here. Please note that all requests are manually vetted, and additions will not be immediate.

Important: If you have received a product as part of an Influenster program, please complete your tasks by visiting the “Programs” page in your app. More information on that here.
